I should know this but don't... I have a PA head that on the back states at least 4 ohms. I have 2 cabinets that are rated 16 ohms (each) . Can I use these cabinets with this head, and what will the total impedance be ? Please help. Thanx

Thanks mate, that helps |

parallel connection of equal impedances will halve the impedance. series connection of equal impedances will double the impedance. run those cabs in parallel -it'll be 8 ohms... more than mfr suggested 4 ohms.. may require knobs to be max'd -all good to do tho.

Thanks for the responses, Libido & tom. I'm new to posting but have been here about a month, gleaning info. Great site !
