In that situation, if the band is using a click I'd simply record the scratch guitars first. If they aren't using a click, you'll have to run the output of your audio interface into a mixer and combine it with the guitar. Brandon |

Yeah that was the solution i thought about. I actually ended up just recording the drums solo without any guitar playback. The drummer insisted on it and he said he knew it by memory. He did a decent job but i had to fix a bit. He didnt hold certain bars long enough.
