protools 8 release date

Hey anyone one know the date that protools 8 is released? i know they already have it for pre order, but i cant find the exact date that it comes out. anyone know?

rumor has it that its supposed to be released next week sometime. i was watching a video on youtube where digidesign sent mike s. from linkin park pro tools 8 and he said that protools 8 would be released sometime next week (the video was uploaded on dec 12th, just seach pro tools 8 linkin park in you tube). i hope thats true cus i just got an m-audio profire 610 but it doesnt support protools 7.4 LE since 8 is coming out so i have to wait for 8 to use it.

It will be definitely within two weeks so don`t worry.
If you are planning to buy any Digidesign gear just wait until updated to new 8th version.
Boxed version will come with some bundle I don`t know if update will.

I have had it for about a month in a half now and i must say that i am loving it. Iv been using pro tools since i started recording so since i know how to use the past ones so it makes the transition very easy. Everything runs amazing and making a song is super easy with it.
