Pro Tools 10 Questions

Hello again there folks!

I was gonna upgrade my interface to a Lynx Aurora, but decided, since Pro Tools 10 is open interface, to keep using my Helix.

Instead I bought a Mac Pro (tower) with 3.2 Ghz. So far this computer has far surpassed my expectations (not too mention, it looks sexy.) I installed the Pro Tools 10 in about 5 minutes. Today I was installing and authorizing all my various software.

Anyhow... this may sound like the dumbest question ever.. but, when I record, for example, my guitar, I cannot hear anything until after it's recorded. I don't remember having this issue on my old Pro Tools, but if I did, I must have already changed that option. I can't remember what it was if I did, because it was like 6 years ago.

So does anyone know.. how do I make it so I can hear the input of the track I'm recording!?

Try this..........option/alt + K key.

Actually, I figured it out.. and you're never gonna believe.... I turned -OFF- the low latency monitoring (err i think so).. and it started to work again. Oh well, I guess I don't need whatever that is anyways, because thus far I'm getting 0 latency. <crosses fingers>

but thanks for the reply.. i think that is the Input/Auto Monitoring hotkey u posted. And yes that is handy.
