Default offending string noise

I have a question you may be able to answer?
When I record vocals I want to play guitar at the same time.
I an running the guitar direct, But I get a lot of string noise through the vocal mic (even with an electric guitar)
I can live with the string noise, except when I start to process the vocals it has a negative effect on this back ground noise.
I have been mssing around with noise gates and limiters, but I have not been able to eliminate the offending string noise.
Are you aware of any settings that will eliminate string noise ether
pre or post recording?

A de-esser is your friend with the string noise because it can catch the offending squeek, but leave the low end and low midrange alone. This is helpful when you have strings sustaining on the guitar with the squeeks.

In the long term, you want to work on squeeking less. That is in the hands and needs to be practiced.

I guess I was not making my self clear?
I'm not talking about squeaky strings.
I want to remove all sound from the guitar that is showing up on my vocal
track!!
From recording in a bricks and mortar studio 20 years ago, I know
one can do this by using a noise gate low/high pas filter.
I just don't know how to do in logic pro?
what plug-in to use and at what settings as I am a song writer and not an engineer.

It's impossible to remove ALL the sound of the guitar because even with a gate, the sound of the guitar will be there when the gate opens up to let your vocals through. There is absolutely no way to remove it completely.

No technology exists now or ever.

If you were right up on the mic and the bleed from the acoutic is minimial, you may be able to get by.

please note I am talking about Two (2) different tracks! I think A de-esser
is something you apply to (direct-in) Guitar track. I don't think it would do much to remove the bleed through on the vocal track.
I want something that will reject a signal below a certain volume.

When I recommended the de-esser, I though you were referring to the squeek of the guitar strings. I didn't realize you were referring to bleed.

The tool for that is a gate or a expander (compressor with ratios below 1:1)
