Need Help With A Skit

hey me and a friend of mine are in the process of completing yet another track for our upcoming mixtape, now on this specific track we decided to do a SKIT now we are goin for a interogation room type feel...where for instance you hear like a creaking fan going in the background umm papers rustling...just general noises you would hear in that type of situation, now my question is are thier like free effects you can download and work into the skit off the internet? if so let me know and other suggestions on this would be appreicated....thanx in advance

Click on Free Sounds. I found fans and paper crinkling.

Also, you're public librart might have lots of sound effect CDs.

Why don't you try recording some SFX yourself?

Paper shuffling, fan noise and a distant city din just don't seem that hard to duplicate

cute....EVERY forum has the "eye roller" who comes off as if sum1 is just flat retarted for askin for something....sorry i didnt sit here for 3 hours tryin to get a specific sound when i can get on here and see if someone already has the sound or knows where to get it....if im gonna sit here and go for a specific sound it will be for recording vocals not wasting time playin with paper...i wuznt talkin shit or gettin mad i just said basically "come on guys lend me an hand T H A N X" cuz it had been 6 hours or so, i figure within that time some one could chime in and drop a line, but if u want to be sarcastic and try to help out in a sarcastic way then please dont bother, itz a waste of ur time as well as mine, if ur gonna reply just REPLY kick that kid shit to the side, thanx...and dont try to intrnet war with me that shit is lame come at me correct next time thanx BUDDY

Hold on, CC. In my opinion, your response to Baron is way out of line.

Depending on where you live, your first post was mid- to late-Saturday afternoon on the first day we've temperatures above freezing in my area for sometime.

Your second post was around or after midnight on Saturday. You received what appear to be two very useful responses before or around noon Sunday. I'd consider that pretty darn helpful and timely under the circumstances.

I don't read Baron's response as derogatory at all. You specifically asked for download sites or other suggestions. Baron merely suggested that you custom-record what you need, rather than hoping to rely on tieing 30 second loops together as a backgroound for your skit.

I'm sure that if you maintain the attitude of your above post, you will be treated on this board as the kid that gets kicked aside.

omg ppl are nut ballz, dude the first 2 responses were great i said thanx because i appreciated it , it was barons post that wuz considered being a DICK, did i say anything regarding the other 2 post besides a thank you? i dont think so? it the simple fact that OF COURSE i thought about doin my own sounds but as i stated i have better thingz to do and concentrate on, all he had to say was "have u tried it urself" and didnt have to add in the rollin eyes all that shit like ima jackass, i react on here the same as i would in person, internet or not i refuse to let ppl think a keyboard is a direct ticket to be a dick nuff said, i read his post started out alright, then at the end he wants to come at me like im dumb thats not called for and pointless, thats what i was reffering to i didnt mean anything to the first 2 posts so i mean, before we play buddie buddie and try to jump sides actually read and understadn where EVERYONE is comin from rather then just the selected parties
