 Looks like the Presonus Firepod has some competition...
So what do you guys think about the Alesis IO26? I didn't see it anywhere on here so I thought I'd bring it up. 8 mic ins at 192kHz for $399 seems pretty interesting. Have any of you used it? Does it sound like crap? Please tell me what you think...  |

Hmm, interesting. I have never seen that before. If it were any cheaper, I would consider buying it over my long awaited firepod.

I've never been impressed with Alesis. The knobs I'm certain are the same cheap plastic things that come on the Fusion keyboards, so it probably feels horrible. I'm sure, like virtually every interface out there, it sounds okay, but I would pass on it.
