This post seems to be out of date, 'cause things change rapidly.. I've got a pair of old SONYs 7509s (japanese), and recently bought the same chinese cans, although the price was the same, they sound completely different, to say less.. I just threw it away, my oldies are screaming, but they do it right for me. The only cans I could work with before were KOSS XTC-pro, they broke soon, and for some reason were discontinued by KOSS. But my mixes made with them alone translated everywhere well. |
