I'm trying to install my Yahama MX25 keyboard controller to Cubase LE4. In the instructions it says that if I have LE4 I dont need to install the included Cubase LEA. Following the instructions it says to turn on the controller and find the DAW set-up, which I did. Then the instructions say to select LE4 if that is what I have. But the only 2 choices in the LED screen are for Cubase LEA or Cubase. No designation is given, just says Cubase. I have tried both and in neither case do I get the drop down windows the instructions say I should have. The instructions refer to "MIDI Port Setup", which I don't see.
I have double checked the midi connections to make sure ins and outs are right and turned on the controller before loading Cubase as it said. I am using the same USB port I installed the drivers with. I see that the Yahama MX25 Mixer is listed in Cubase, but I don't know how to make it work when following the instruction manual doesn't work.
I specifically talked to tech at AMS before ordering to make sure it was compatable with LE4 - they said it was.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
