Default computer audio interface into power PA??

Hey guys, I was wondering if there was anything wrong with what I am thinking about doing. I have a mac running Logic and an audio interface (Motu Ultralite) and rather than getting a power amp I'd rather just plug the thing right into a pair of active PA speakers. Is there anything wrong with that? This would be for small gigs. Thanks!

I've done that before with a Firepod. Ran live lound with Cubase and other than a minor latency issue that only I noticed, was pretty damn cool to add reverb and delay to vocals all with software.
