Default Chopped and Screwed Effect for vocals

Okay. I'm using Nuendo 3 to record people and I have an urge to make a chopped and screwed track, but I'm totally lost when it comes to making it happen. Can anyone guide me on how to make the vocals on a track sound chopped and screwed? Thanks.

You can make them sound that way with some pitch shifting, but it may not sound as good as those on commercial records.
I have to practice a little more with that.
I got close to that sound using Reason.
But when I get the opportunity, I'll get in to it more.
A sampler would sound like the best option, because they might have better engines to pitch shift.
One more: I heard Serato does an amazing job with the pitch.

Cheers!

Ive been able to do it using Waves Stomp Box Plugin.. In the Stomp box I put a pitch pedal and play with the knobs... Ive only tried it on one song and it worked out... This way when I want the vocals to get chopped and screwed just press the pedal and then press it off when Im done

GTR 3 part of the Waves Mercury bundle... I love it...

Chopped? Are you wanting to have it cut in and out? If so cut out some parts of the vox on every other eighth note. Screwed can't help you with that description. Can you post an example of something that is close to what you want.

I believe he is referring to this genre of music, which originated in Houston with DJ Screw.
