Default Carvin X-100B test

I had this little idea and I wanted to see what kind of clean tone I could get from the Carvin X-100B. Sounds pretty cool.

I hear a hum? like a buzz sound under the music. Is that your carvin or your soundcard?

Carvin has bad tubes. makes a lot of noises like hums, and pops when I adjust the volumes

sounds like the transformer coils. On old amps you can take these apart and put silicone between the plates and put it back together. That will get rid of alot of that buzz.

I would take it to your local music repair man.

Well I would fix it myself but If you don't want to.... I guess it depends on where you are. If you have a good repair man in your city or not. Unless you like the buzz you are getting I would do something about it at the source.

hahaha it might have been the compressor pedal that I was using. I'll post a new clip tonight and see if I can't get rid of the buzz through a couple of methods.

Oh when you said clean I assumed you were plugging right into the carvin. Yes Pedals will sometimes give the sound a humm or buzz. Cool thats an easy fix!
