Hello everyone im new to recording all together, however im looking to make a career out of it.. I have no knowledge other then what I’ve played around with on my home computer, and a science of music class I’ve recently taking. I’ve signed up for an audio school (IAR in new york city) and am going to start Jan 2009. However I was wondering if anybody could recommend any books to read that can help me get a jump start on learning audio recording, audio engineering,, and music production. I went on to amazon.com but seem to have trouble finding a book for someone who’s at the very beginning and seems easy enough to follow. If anybody can please recommend any books they’ve read in early stages of learning I would be thankful to any information giving to me.. Thank you for your time
