Default Anyone ever opened a Pro Tools File with Vegas?

Hello all,

Anyone ever open a Pro Tools file with Vegas?

I'm doing drums this week end and totally forgot to research this ahead of time.

I may have replied to the other thread or maybe forgot to...

you need to burn pc iso formatted discs from their PT system (assuming it's a mac)...
you need export 24 bit .wav files, normal or broadcast depending on your preference
For each cut they all need to start at "0:00" and all songs/files be labled accordingly
make sure the data is verified after the burn

you need to check the discs in a pc before you leave
I'll repeat that
you need to check the discs in a pc before you leave
I've burnt more than a few discs that my pc's couldn't read
Ask them to archive/safety the pt sessions just in case you have trouble with the disk or there's partially corrupt files that you don't notice until 5 weeks later

make sure you check the discs!

Have fun!

Cool.

They consolidated the tracks in Pro Tools and simply burned a data DVD with the Mac with the wave files.

We opened it in a PC without a problem and I copied it to a number of hard drives.

Piece of cake.
