44.1 ...I am at a loss.At first I was sure it was the radioshack mic's self noise or comp fan, then after unplugging everything and even turning the preamps, headphones, and mains down it was still there...I became furious.Maybe I should just except it, but I cannot.I do alot of intentional wrongdoings , though this is something I just cannot put up with. How did you handle the firepod?

My first thought was your levels are set wrong but you say you get noise with everything turned down. Check with headphones. If you hear the noise through the headphone jack with all the levels turned down then you have a bad unit. Fireboxes are not that cheap and they should not have noise. Contact Presonus.
