Hey. I got one, use it to record our band.... Its a pretty good interface..... But we really needed more mic preamps. 4 really isnt enough for n e thing, so what we did is we bought a sm pr8e preamp. So now we can utilize all 12 lines. Try looking at the the alesis multimix 16, i think it has 6 pre's. But if you dont need more than 4, then nothing should be stopping u from getting this mixer. I have one, and I love it. It does, for me, exactly what I want it to do. I have not had any problems with it. Be sure to download the latest drivers from Alesis first. It's almost as trusty as Cubase SX3 !

i doubt any1'z watching this post anymore but i just came across it and figured id share some input......i have the Alesis multimix 6 preamp an so far itz been great, not really any complaints...knock on wood lol, i noticed u already bout it but should be agood buy
