I like it. Great snare sound. How come it goes in and out? The snare I mean.

First off you have a great voice for country music. This is a good song. What would make this this a great song would be more exploitation of the "stoned to the bone" metaphor. If you ever decide to re-write I would add more descriptive elements like, "this jack and coke", " rolled one more smoke" that's all. I want to get the feeling of the experience through words.

First thing that get me is the contrasting steel guitar and the bluesy lead guitar. The steel comes in on one side all about country feel then bam! a blues guitar player just joined the band. Its doesn't fit. There two different styles I'd loose the guitar and keep the steel. It works for the song. the rest sounds good to me.

Yeah .....really good vocal ....nice feel overall . I agree , lose the "bluesy" acoustic . Also , the acoustics sound like they were recorded from the pickups . I think you'd do well to unplug them , slap a mike on them and get some more wood on the track . That voice deserves it . Maybe cut back on the reverb overall . I think all the parts are there...might just take a bit of messing with the effects and balances a bit . Keep it up ....really nice track
