Default Sound Module Tracks

OK yall. I make a lot of tracks (christian/ country) using just sound modules and keys. Looking for input on creating some "air" without live instruments. I use pro tools for recording and Yamaha, Korg, and Roland gear. Is there a better way to mix this stuff? Thanks for listenin!

I think you've got a great track going here ...everything is discernible , clean ...nice balance between the instruments . The "midi factor" is not predominant ( with the exception of the cymbals ...maybe a wee bit loud ) ..but the drum program is great ....the track sounds big without any major help from effects ...obviously a TON of care went into this and I applaud your effort .

Thanks. I've been doing these kind of tracks for a while, but always looking for some suggestions on mixing. I appreciate it.

I do these a lot. One thing I hear is a 2.5k-ish synth "ring" on some of the tracks, like the ac gtr. Since that can sort of build up through the whole mix, I'd sweep that and pull it out of the 2-bus altogether.

Thanks. EQing is a weakness of mine! Memorizing frequencies and all....! I will try sweeping some of the ring out.

Two quick things. There's no memorization need. If you'd like to learn certain bands a la aquiring perfect pitch, that would be a bonus.

"Sweeping a parametric equalizer" is not a figure of speech but a technique. Just copy and paste into google.
