I have this song to remix. What would you do different?

Depending on budget. I would Quantize the drums they are pretty far gone. This obviously was not recorded with a click. I am not sure what else you are going to get out a better performance of the vocals but you can improve the sound. The vox are way over the top compared to the music. His voice is more appropriate over an orchestra or big band ensemble. Grasping at straws I might recommend adding an organ or strings or anything ambient. This sounds as appropriate as Pat Boone and Dweezil Zappa. I hope my Frankness isn't annoying. I have heard the excellent work you can do but you my be polishing this one for while.

You're right on target. I was given a turd and they want it polished. I just want to flush it down the toilet!

The drummer is a beginner. Ugh
