sound a bit dull. not busting on it, it sounds like you can get it from a flowing song to a moving song if you pick it up only a couple beats and use like a 2/4 beat to it meaning accent it in the 2nd and 4 beats with the drum snare and get the feeling step it up just a hair it will have a strong feeling with a drive towards it. now it feels like bla,not busting on it but it is there but no feeling in the whole song.

Bill

Thanks for that, I get what you're saying here & I tend to agree. Mow I can go back & rework it with your suggestions.

RUN RUN RUN.....good contemporary sounding tune ....good chorus ...tight harmony ...I might wet up the vocal a bit ( a bit of ambience ) and throw some compression on the electric guitar . Go ahead and crank up the drums while you're at it .

By "wet up" the vocal I mean maybe add a little bit of reverb ..just a bit of "space" around it to give it a bit of life ..maybe a short delay ....
I use a telecaster on my electric stuff and I always need a some compression to "smooth out " the signal ..give it some body and some sustain

Nice tune. I think Roysboy gave you some great ideas to try. Look forward to hearing this when you remix. I found a VST that I really like PUSHTEC 5+1A. You may find it useful with this tune. Here is a link to a free download:

You are definitely on the right track, it is a beautifully clean recording that you have to work with here.
