Default Roll Right Back to You

Hey everyone. This one is an acoustic song its kinda country/acoustic rock..
I recorded this at a live show and i think there is a little bit of distortion from the transmitter/receiver bt its not too bad.

Well enough chit chat, heres my mix.

It's not too good either. Do these wireless jobs always distort this much? I've never used one before. I'd expect this is the source of the extreme compression.

The song is good and the voice is very strong. I just don't think you had much to work with on this one.

Thanks for the reply there Brandon.
There are a few factors that may haveplayed a roll in the distortion.
1: The transmitter/receiver - It is a fw years old now and sound pretty good live [ you cant hear any distorion live]
2:It was the first time using the recording device [Boss BR1600CD] and it was hard to monitor the levels and hard to work out gain levels [althoguh i think i had the gain right down for this one., not sure]

I plan to re record this as soon as i get my interface.
