I love how you capture live sound. Very clear and distinct.

However, it sounds a little too close to Don't Be Cruel.
(A little closer than George Harrison's "My Sweet Lord" to the Chiffon's "One Fine Day")

Otherwise, outstanding production capturing a live performance.

It's not his fault that this sounds like Don't Be Cruel. This is an old Elvis song. Elvis ripped himself off, which was very common in the 50's and 60's (and today). I agree - good live sound.

Sounds Like "don't Be Cruel " I Just Can't Comment On This. It Is Really Tooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Much A Don't Be Cruel. Your Voice Even Has The Elvis Style. So If Your Song Sounds Like An Elvis Tune And Your Voice And I Checked The Key. All Match Just To Much To Say Bash It. I Say T.... It. Anybody Who Know Music Can Totally Pick That Song Out. Sorry But You Said Bash It. I Think It Would Give You More Respect As Here Less Whispering If You Changed The Pattern. How About A Blues/country Style. It Will Let You Do Your Thing But All The Chord Patterns Will Totally Clash From The Elvis Style. Maybe Don't Do The Vocal Style In The Elvis Style And Option You Can Rock It Up A Bit Too.how About Leaving You Lyrics. The A Blues/country /rock And Roll/that Should Cover It Up.if Not I Say T...h It

Im not busting on your tune. I have nothing to do today so i wrote a lage post.
Look back it was I who said you sound like elvis. I did not bash the song.

As a big time phila. producer told me . i will not post his name. was big to the max in 60 .70 . time . so many bands world wide. million dollar hit maker. well i have a buddy who is working on a project ( few) for 6 years now trying to get to the winners seat. its not like the older days in hit making etc.I to am working on something with him but at a different level etc.....

as to say . one song can come off of a hit song of another. An idea?i too hear songs that have a quick idea of an existing or older song and they are on the radio.

Older songs are picked as ideas to bring things out to todays world.
ITS MUSIC. ITS ART. ITS "WHAT "YOU" FEEL INSID. AND I HAVE TO EVEN GO AGAIST MY OWN WORDS. IF ITS WHAT YOU FEEL AND WROTE AND MADE AND OTHERS SAY SAY SAY, WELL IT IS UP TO YOU TO KNOW IF THAT IS WHERE YOU GOT IT FROM OR only had an idea and wrote the rest from your hear.

i have a nephew swore that he had a great country style song. i st there with his words as he sang the lyric. i matched the chords. a put in several days as at the time i had it did an entire song to the T and i mean everything i could have done. played all instruments recorded. all finished , then having people tell me "that songs sounds like something i heard before. after couple months. ( as i was city born but now in the country area and was experimenting with country pop etc)i was downloading songs. that was i was gonna do a dj side job and needed many country song. i HIT IT ON THE NAIL. Billy Cyrus, Achy breaky Heart. same solo hummed to me. same everything. Now a family laugh,He now has few more to do. I did several of my own country of all styles. He has his. What will they be ?????

But its the feeling inside for the most part of writing a song. yea who wants to think of using anything fro m another but it happens. It does sound like elvis but what can i say. do your thang.maybe over time you may put few little things in the songs as licks little breaks etc to give it you own creative touch. good luck. it sounds good
