Default Warning to Emcees - Nykoteen - BASH IT

I took my time and spent three days mixing this in about 45 minute intervals.

DO YOU THINK IT HELPED?

if anything (im no engineer, but to meeeeee) i would just up the vocals maaaaybe like 2dB, but, then again, im listening to this on shitty pc speakers, so, ill throw on my mixing headphones and listen and it might sound great.

AT2020 - cant complain, wish the self noise was a tad lower, but, it was 100 bucks... wanting an AKG Perception or Rode NT1A
AKG K44 headphones do the job.

aim: vkl28 for collabs or what not

What does that mean? What process I use?

If so..first thing I always do is

Parametric Equalizer
Normalize [my vocals record at a peak of -18db so I boost it up to view it easier to about -10db or so]
X-Pop
Hum Remover
Multiband Compressor [on this one I increased the mid channel, raised the highs a little bit and left the lows around]
Waves C1 to compress.

signal chain is usually speaking of what equipment you use, like i go from my AT2020 to the Alesis Mixer through USB into Audition

Oh okay.

Simple.

Samson Co1u USB Condensor Microphone, plugs straight into my USB port. Used Audition 3.0 for this one.

sounds good, one thing i like about samplitude i gotta say is the ability to make waves bigger without affecting the volume, like a magnifying glass. does sound a little low, could crank the volume up on the vocals a tad or try either a eq boost on the vocals or an eq cut on the instrumental.
