well, the vocals have recorded better on this one, in fact it is very good. it is clean without any plosive problems and such. well DONE!

on the chorus, i would double or triple the vocal tracks enhance the dynamics of the song.

PS-my brother died at 2 weeks old too. i know how you felt. to our dead brothers!

To double/triple the vocal effects do you mean one of the added effects like trio chorus or something like that or physically record them three times?

physically record them 2 or 3 times. make sure they are tight (or not tight depending on what you are going for) pan them left right center (if there are 3)...

alright man. im gonna be honest. this song is touching. very. but i gotta say, that chorus needs just a little work. i would suggest a little heavier on the reverb. just to give that airy, almost ghostly feel. IT just goes very dry as well one the verse. this soung is ill, and it needs to be perfect, just my idea at least. man dig deep into this song, let me know if there is anything i can do to help with the mix. be easy brother, very well done

Yea I'd love more help with the mixing... I use Cool Edit pro and it has pre-set Reverbs and I just go in and click on one like "Midtones Following" to add some Echo like effects. and "Nice Presence" for Reverb.

I downloaded Reaper, but haven't installed it yet.

Wow this is a totally different feel from your other song. The lyrics are VERY well done and powerful, and again the instrumental is awesome. The only thing you really need to work on is that chorus, It has a catchy feel, but it seems kind of rough there, and sometimes hard to understand. Smooth it out a bit, Turn down the vocals and maybe rewrite the chorus some too, Because that is the one thing that kind of breaks up the song in a bad way. I love the verses though.
