i hate to listen and make judgements with headphones but im at work so ill give it to ya, i think its a hair high on the higher eq, also i would like to hear the piano come in and drop out instead of a repetitive loop u feel me. the beat has a nice smooth feel to it, just build it up with a nice intro and have more breaks in it(drop the hats now n then etc etc) for just starting in jan. your doing well keep it up.

how do u like fl 9? i just upgraded to it also and i like the added limiters and all that, i think they got it with this one! do u write your notes with ur midi keyboard? or do u use the piano roll? i just purchased 25gb of sounds from a dude on ebay(powersoundstore) check it out i paid 18 bucks for 25gb of sounds, u cant pass it up dog. as far as the monitors im using the krk rokit 5's which are a good set of monitors for that price range, personally im getting the krk 10 for the bass, since the 5's dont handle the 808 well, so its hard to mix with them since the 808 is so low. but the size of ur room factors in on the size monitors also, if you go with a 8" woofer you should be fine.

i like the fl 9. ye i think this is the one though, and the factory sounds on there don't sound half bad either! yes i use the keyboard to write in my patterns, it makes everything alot easier to put down an idea or what im feeling.ye u got a good deal on that. i think i'm going to invest in a 8" woofer in the near future, the one i have now has done its job and is about ready for retirement
