wuts good most requested! im hearing crackle throught the beat? was this intentional? if not run a noise reduction to eliminate that. I like what you did with the cymbals(panning them around) that added to the impact.the overal beat is tight, when i make a beat i like my meoldy to be just a hair lower and i bring up the drums until the hook then push the melody out and drop back the drums, have you ever thought of that? also how do you like the emu interface? im working with the emu px-7 workstation(love it) and i was thinking about changing out my interface on my pc(sound blaster audigy pro) let me know what you've gained by using that interface.

Hey thanks for the feedback! Crackles were intended, but it's maybe a bit too loud. I've never tried that method of upping the drums and dropping the melody lower during the verse and interchanging them during the hook. Great suggestion! I'm going to give that a shot!

Emu1616m interface is great imho. It comes equipped a decent pre-amp 48v phantom power. Also the sound quality is awesome. the package also comes with some unique fx you can mix in with vocals. the only downside is if you're recording more than 2 at a time, it's impossible due to limited i/o. I paid a little over $400.00 for mine and I think it's well worth the buck.

which sequencer are you using to make your beats?

I make all my beats with my emu px-7 workstation, also i have a triton for the keys, my daw of choice is the ol school cool edit pro, but I also have fruity loops 6&7 producer edition.

Im going to check out the emu interface but i have a ton of i/o on my sound blaster audigy interface. Ill post a beat so you can hear one.

Nice beat!
I think she could use a sick baseline in the mix.
