Hey guys, this song is an original enitled Stop the Coldness. this was recorded way before i joined recording review and all of the tracks are home recorded. I just dug up the files from our archives and then remixed everything now equipped with mixing techniques and knowledge that i've learned from this site. I rerecorded tha guitars and used 7's instead of a 6 stinged guitar. the vocals, bass and drums were still from before and i just did some processing to remove hiss and clicks also by using techniques shared here at rreview.. I started everything from scratch and did not base my mix on the settings of the first release. I just finished recording the guitar tracks and layed it down just a few minutes ago. Please bear with this one coz i havent cleaned up the waves of the guitar track yet and the little details for it (riffs) havent been recorded yet but the basic melody is all in here.. I used the setting of my "stream of consciousness" thread for the guitars. Let me know what you think. every little comment would help a lot. I think it rocks man. Good job on the remix. There are some background vocals at the beginning of the first verse that are great and you should use them more. Guitars are nice. Keep going man! This is a drastic improvement!

only thing i would say is bring the bass drum a bit further up in the mix if you can and snare down a little
Vocals contrast in really well
Oh ive just got to the solo guitar sounds great! big sound but everything else underlies it nicely

alrighty just did the snare trimming and bass boosting (but not too much of it).

GUYS,

here's the second mix. its complete now. all the riffs are there and the little details were also included. I realligned the vocals to the track coz there's a very tiny deviation in the last mix so i just fixed it. i also did a little mastering (whats that??)hehe. i just did a little windening and eqing on the mixdown. i dont know if thats mastering but what the hell..: here it is guys DESTROY IT!!!!!
