We just came back from getting this recorded (). It's a rough mix, but I'd like to get some ideas on how to refine it.

The guitars sound thin and like there is a ton of gain. Sometimes using a lot less gain/overdrive than you would like to hear live and sounds better in a mix. Overdrive tends to build up quickly when you double guitars and you end up losing tone.

i agree the guitars are a little thin, and i would turn down the vocals just a little. over all great

I think a little EQ-ing would help a bit with this recording. Cut down some of the bass, and add a bit of top end to make it "crunchier". Its a great song, though! I like it a lot!
