i think the overall mix is good, when u re-do it i would get those guitars in tune tho lol. mostly that one on the left side. and at a little sparkle to the snare and u got it done! good luck sounding good

This is just a personal thing, but for parts like around 1:25 etc I think it would give the song more thickness to actually have both guitars do the rhythm, or have the rhythm player do the rhythm again using the other guitar players axe, and then do the lead riff over top. All alone on the right side the lead sound kind of hollow - and I don't know if bass can help that. Do you know what I'm talking about with the double rhythm track and utilizing the lead? Might want to mention it to the band, or give it a whirl and see if it beefs up the mix a little bit so it doesn't feel "empty" during those parts. I've got a song I'm working on that's like that and it makes it unbalanced to listen to. |
