Default My fist mix for bashing.

Hey guys, this my first mix ive posted so be nice but dont hold back.

I didnt record the song i just downloaded the tracks from another forum topic and mixed it.

I mixed the song in Adobe audition 3 on some cheap computer speakers. they are $80 [Australian] speakers. and checked on a set of legacy ph100 headphones. which arent to bad for the price.

Let me know what you think. im pretty happy with the way it is sounding on my speakers, i dunno what it would be like on a decent set of monitors but i guess someone will let me know [hopefully]

Thanks guys, i appreciate any comments/suggestions.

I can hear someone clear their thought just before the second guitar comes in, just cut that off if you didn't mean it to be there. Drums need to be louder - all of them. You may want to check some reverb on the vocals as well, or maybe a bit of delay to splice it up.

On the positive side - all reasonably tight. Guitars sound nice. Snare sounds nice, just too quiet. Toms are nicely panned. Vocals are recorded ok from the sounds of it, even though the singing style is a bit "heavy".

He he, sorry about the throat clearing - I should have warned you about that: there's probably quite a few instances of it because of the way I record my vocals...

BTW I'm on a PC with no speakers at the moment, once I've moved later, I'll let you know how this mix is sounding, but they've been good so far, so I'm optimistic
