I give you a 10 for song title. ![]() However, the repetitiveness of the lyrics get old (he's got a mullet...party in the front...business in the back...), which kind of gives the feeling that the song itself is repetitive; recommend somekind of breakdown or bridge to break it up. BUT.....cool song! Although rife with pitchy vocals, I like the vibe of this song. Did you double the vocals? Sounds like it. Nice Gary Hoey style guitar soloing. The mix seems well balanced overall. As fullcrib said the cymbals sounds good; not harsh.

Thanks, fellas. Good comments. About vox: verse 1 is single-track, the rest are doubled. About drumz: 4 mics total: AKG C1000 pair overhead; D112 on kick; SM57 on snare. Minimal processing on the overheads; I think a smidgen of high boost. Having a bit of a problem with hihats leaking into snare mic. Suggestions? I think the main problem is I hit the hats too hard, the snare too soft. --- Diamond Sky Studios Diamond Sky Studios |
