I'd really like hear this one with better guitar sound since it hard to hear some of the notes played and I also like crushing guitar sound.

Is it me or do I hear too much "pumping"? Maybe a lil too compressed low frequencies? Kinda tough to get into the song cos of it I find. Could be too many conflicting low frequencies (kick, guitar, bass). Like the sound of both clean and screamo vocals though. Nice presence to them IMO. My 2 cents.

Snare sound is too ordinary.
Got into the song but there is certainly some overuse of the compressor, as Vanan says.
Like the stark discordancies on rh guitar - but possibly overdone?

i'm pretty much in agreement with the other guys... the snare is a bit flat, and also the kick drum is overly clicky in my opinion... a better drum sound would improve the mix a lot. the guitars sounded ok to me, and the vocals were excellent.
the song itself is really good though... a better mix will make all the difference...

The title my big mistake kinda sounds like a book for third graders - you may want to reconsider that one. Also, don't decide going in to imitate another band. Just make what ever music you feel like, and if someone else decides it reminds them of some other band that's their problem.

I'd put a noise gate on the guitars. Right in the beginning, the first drrrrr drrr, you can hear a weird buzz fading out. and it's like that pretty much throughout the song when you guys stop.

Also, I think i'd add a little reverb on the vocals to make it sound bigger.

Sounds cool man, i thinking the comp suits the genre. What mic you use for vox? Other vox after breakdown seem a bit weak, i would either bring up or maybe get the scream vox to double it ,
