Is that at 48k? Sounds all messed up to me, just like it does when someone posts a 48k mp3.

Compared to what? In what context? It sounds like a mic in front of an amplifier. I'm guessing that's a good thing.

This is to discourage participation from non-Mac users.

Lol, recorded in 48k yes. But I was fairly certain that MP3 resolution didn't matter just bitrate. I put a lo pass on it, think it sounds better now. BTW, I AM a mac user lol.

Garageband I'm looking for any advice I can get. Guitarist's perspective, editing/mixing perspective, style, anything.

Your guitar tone can be friggin' awesome all by itself. But....

"How does it sit with the rest of the instruments you plan to mix with it and how does it sit with those instruments and any vocals you plan to add?"

This is the 64 million dollar question to ask. At least, I feel it is the way to think about it.

I'm not with a band right now, but there's talk about it. I just think the high end sounds fizzy. Could be my solid state amp, or my Boss DS-1 pedal. My money is on the amp.

Big sound dude you can always roll off a little 4k or from memory the ds-1 pedal had a tone knob maybe roll that back a little but I reakon when that sound is within the context of a full band around it you wont notice the slight fizz on the top..
