Default Hey bro!......

Another tune we have been workin on...still tryin to keep it "old school" and "raw"...
Any advice on the track levels or song structure or any other fubars you hear goin on are welcomed....I'm aware of the "weak snare" problem...will be correcting that
Thanks

Song structure is good - nice breaksdowns & re-entries etc. - love the solo! - short & sweet. Drums overall are boxy / muddy sounding - they all sound very "separated" too - like each drum is a separate instrument & not a cohesive whole - get some "glue" compression & ambience happening on the drum buss. Vocals are distant sounding compared to the instruments - possibly a symptom of the reverb type/amount you're using. Guitar playing is very good, drumming is solid, but the bass could be tighter. Overall, the song works for me, but the mix has a long way to go.

Shows great promise - I love the raw sound, but have a few recommendations - but remember it's each to his own!
Drums - Sound like they were recorded in a Tool Shed - Way too muddy, but personally I love the seperation thing!
I'd try cutting lower bass on them and add a bit of high end, with more compression on the kick and snare.
Main Gtrs - Too long a reverb, but main problem again is lower bass, which is muddying everything else up - get rid of it.
Vox - Too much reverb, but really good sound and singing.
Lastly - The main problem for me is that the solo section that starts at about 3:30 should be much earlier.
