I'd have to say too much gain on the guitars. It sounds way too fuzzy.

I agree, guitar sounds way to fuzzy, how did you record it? Same goes for the drums, kick is barely audible the entire thing sounds like its underwater or somthing. What set up are you using? i do like the song tho.

yes the guitars seem too fuzzy cymbals r out front but the rest of the drums sound like underwater or in the next room
but i like this music

using an edirol ua1000, i really need a better monitoring setup, i guess this set up i have makes things sound much better than they actually are



just using a line six 30 watt amp to output the guitar

did you di the guitar? or did you mic it up? if you did mic it up, what mics did you use? as they might be your problem, having said that i think for me i would have changed the guitar tone. The actual sound of the drums (bar the bass) are ok you just need to sort the levels out. How are you monitor this exactly anyway?

i directly recorded guitar,


the monitoring is being done through a beringer keyboard amp, lol it just makes everything sound so dam good! i need some nice active monitors any suggestions?

I use the KRK Rockit 6's and i think that they are the best in their quality range.
