Got a new amp 5150EVH/Recto cab clip

So i traded my 5150 combo that i modded into a head for a 5150EVH

Recorded a song with it.

Loved the song!

One thing I noticed was that even though the bass drum had a nice click to it, there seemed to be too much mud around it, but, that's my humble opinion coming from pure inexperience.

Howdy, I usually don't like instrumentals, but that kicked major butt. You got a good thing going here. I can really picture some dream theater type vox in here.

not really... sounded a bit like trivium on a good day to me.

losing reality: was that drop D tuning? great guitar sound btw.

Its Drop Bb tuning. The In Flames tuning. (newer)

Thats the first time my music has ever been compared to Trivium. haha

Usually its compared to In Flames.

that was pretty cool. i definitely found myself headbangin' to that one. cool tone on that guitar. the only thing i would say is to bring those crashes and that ride down just a tad.
