Default Glass of wine

Please critique. It is what it is. Standard EZ drums with no processing....yet. Don't know if I want to F them up though.

The vocal seems to sit a little too high in the mix, but I really like the delay effect you're using on the some of those chorus vocals.

I agree, little high on the vocal volumes but otherwise good mix

I think the volume starts out the right volume....maybe a little low..

Then slowly gets higher.

Their also a little dry for my taste

I'm incredibly impressed by this. I agree with the other comments in regards to the vocal being a tad higher in the mix than it needs to be, and I think the vocal effects are... God. Don't want to sound mean, can't think of a more fitting word, though; tacky. It doesn't fit the clean, new sound of all the other stuff. Especially the tight, beautiful guitar work (which doesn't sound even remotely eighties to me). If it weren't for those things, I would've had no idea this wasn't done professionally.

Thanks guys. Here is another one with a few little tweaks. Compressed the vocals a little more and reduced them overall. Starting to think I may have decreased them too much???? Reduced the "tacky" vocal effect (but it's still there). Eq'ed a little of that lead guitar...and now that you mention it it is a killer 80's sound. haaaaaa. Compressed and messed with the drums. Hope I didn't mess them up. Thanks again.

That sounds much better man! especially the vocals, they sit more in the mix instead of on top of it.
