Default this is a cover of

to start ive written and recorded 28 songs in the last 9 months.with contacts with a few labels. i am in hopes to go to a real studio after january.so,i literally did this with serious makeshift crap.unemployed as well.this song after a month of mixing and trying everything possible with what ive got is, i think the best its gonna get.its just the draft i guess.with the help from a few people on here ive learned a whole lot, which has turned my garbage studio and songs, at least into tollerable and somewhat listenable music.so,there will be plenty to bash on here.what i use? flstudio8(demo) magix samplitude15(trial version)$200 epiphone electric acoustic.with a 1/4 spliced to 1/8 chord straight to pc.and $40 guitar center mic special.1.8p.gig ram.maxter garbage drive.so, you can imagine my cpu was a wonderfull task to work around.so,it took 6 months to get something on the finished section but, thats ok.oh the vocals considering what i have to use i tried to back off the processing as much as possible, and i took the auto tuner off so, sorry this is so long ahhhh!

Man this sounds great! Everything about it sounds pro man. To my ears at least. Geez! I was expecting total crap when I read your post. Wow! I can't pick anything out that may be "wrong" or "bad". I'll leave this one to the pros. Wow!

oh the drums are just flstudio 8.im looking into better programs right now.for this globalbandproject. i dont want to use ezdrummer(dkfh)i think the metal drums sounds have been over used.im looking for some more raw sounding drums, that i can just eq to have more clik and punch to them.anyways thnx man.

sure man sign me up on the world band thing. for preference i'd usually play new metal heavy stuff like soilwork and killswithch engage tuning. before i play prog metal but i thought i'd swithch to metalcore for a now to get a wide variety of influences and feel in metal music. dude are you kiddin about the flstudio drums??? you got nice samples considering they're fake sounding when you first listen to them. nice job. 5* for this song. i like the sound of the distorted guitars. can you also fill me in on how you recorded, and make it sound so wide. what processing steps did you do?? thanks man. i hope you wont mind me asking.

not a bother at all but, its gonna be long but, here we go.first i had to do some homework and some guys on here really helped with it.instead of playing one guitar line for example.and just re-amping and copying them and then inching them off to make that double effect.i played the main heavy parts individually 4 times.and obviously i had to keep them tight as i could .and no matter how good i got my buffers and latency issues settled ,theres always a milisecond or so, of latency.so,i of course lined them with say the kick or something .with 4 seperate trx of the same riff,i pan 2 hard left and 2 hard right 100%. nothing in the middle and i keep the same eq and comp.or anything i put on them the same as well.so, this will manipulate a fuller sound of what i tried to do was one solid sounding guitar track.and to make this more interesting i did it with an epiphone acoustic guitar.which proves that.good plugin work can be worth experimenting with.it was a lot of work but, it was fun
