Default Bash My First Metal Recordings

I actually recorded this metal band last summer as a favor. Figured I'd throw them up here and let everyone have at it. Fire at will.

I think this sounds nice and big. you can hear everything pretty well.

I think the reverb sounds a little weird especially in that first song when it stops. This is just personal opinion at this point but IMO it makes the band sounds too far away. I like my metal to sound like the band is literally playing on my face while ripping of pieces of it.

Over all this sounds really good and probably better than what I can do! We'll see soon enough I'll be recording a metal album in the next few months.

On second though, it sounds pretty in your face, but maybe I would just cut it out when the song stops. That echo feels weird to me.

for me the drum kits sounds like its too close together and there is not enough separation between the different elements. Its only slight though i just feel its a little claustrophobic, maybe some alterations to your panning and eq could help? I find the vocals sound a little to forward as well but that might be because i hate that style of vox lol. Loving the guitar tones though, nice stuff. Bass sounds cool as well.

Track 1: Guitars seem pretty distant in comparison to the vocals. Like someone else mentioned, maybe taming of the reverb might be in order. I like the style of vocals being mixing together. Reminiscent of COF.

Track 2: Again, the guitars could be a lot more in your face. Or the vocals brought down a lil more. Prefer this song between the two.
