for me the drum kits sounds like its too close together and there is not enough separation between the different elements. Its only slight though i just feel its a little claustrophobic, maybe some alterations to your panning and eq could help? I find the vocals sound a little to forward as well but that might be because i hate that style of vox lol. Loving the guitar tones though, nice stuff. Track 1: Guitars seem pretty distant in comparison to the vocals. Like someone else mentioned, maybe taming of the reverb might be in order. I like the style of vocals being mixing together. Reminiscent of COF. Track 2: Again, the guitars could be a lot more in your face. Or the vocals brought down a lil more. Prefer this song between the two. |
