Yoo ![]() Its my 1st post and i just want some advice to make my recordings better. This is one of my bands tunes called "Be My Motherman". The drums are programmed in Guitar Pro then put through Battery 3, EZdrummer pop kit and finally BFD with a Lucite kit i think this has had a lot of compression added and sum reverb. The guitars have been recorded using a line 6 UX1 usb interface and put through Pod Farm its been layer 5 times with a plexi, 5150 and mesa models with various effects. I used the whammy off a me-50 . The bass was also through pod farm.Any help would be appreciated, go nuts |

In the main riff, I think maybe the guitar should be a little brighter. I like that sound in the breakdown, and the pinch harmonics sound really good, but just overall, I think it needs a little more high end. Good luck! |

I've got a mix down with vocals now. Ive added the top end on the guitars and a little on the drums as the cymbals fell out of the mix on that recording i feel .Were noobs at doing vocals so if you have any specific tips 4 them they'll be much appreciated. ![]() Cheers 4 the comments |
