dude im gonna be honest.thats one song thats always hit home, and i really mean home?im kinda protective over him in a sense, hes how i started singing, when i was a kid i had to go out to the woods because some of his stuff was to loud to practice at home.so,i was a little leary about listening to you,cuz i thought i was gonna really have to bash you man,and i think i was just gonna bash you anyways, but, im not.i give you a 7 also with the potential of a 9 or 10.nice jobive put a post up about putting together a via net global internet band under rock/metal titled attention!!!anyone ive got some responses already and i have some good ideas on how to get system down to do it by internet if your interested let me know

Yeah BYF i saw the post and am kinada interested, I just didnt know how to reply to it. It sounds fun and It would probably help bridge a lot of gaps between me and computers. It sounds like i could only learn.

How will you make yr decisions on who the players are? Seems like theres a lot of intrest and yr band might end up with 4 drummers 4 bassist, and 6 singers.

Names; audioweb, the turbo collaboration, ww.shred
guaranteed to rock yr fuckin face off

Fill me in on some details when you iron it ouy in yr brain and let me know. Ill see what i can do to help. Tryouts coould be cool for a number of reasons.

Thanks for the story and honest bash

compared to Laney? i'd give you a 6. but if you put up your own heavy sounding new metal band like taproot or dark new day.. your band would definitely rock with you on the mic.

WOW Brian thats nice of you to say. I dont know if its most people or not ,but i really have a hard time with the sound of my own voice as a lead vocalist. So that is definately the biggest complement i ever got.

Heres the biggest thing for me. Im not a very good lyricist. Or maybe im just tooo picky. So if i dont like the words im singin, i usualy A) slide into the note and B) sing it in some goofy voice that is worse than my normal.

Im glad you guys were able to look past the production and give me a fair view. Thanks for all yr guys's time especially the ones i forgot to reply to or mention directly.

Hey Willj I am listening in headphones but I think you did a fine job with your voice. I am not a huge AIC fan. I like them but I never bought an album. I'm not sure if I've ever heard this song before. Most people that try to do this sort of vox over accentuate their r's. You didn't. I didn't feel you where trying to be some else when I listened to the performance and I think that is cool.

Cheers

Cmon stop being modest. we all saw your post when you were drunk. You have a good voice and i know its gonna be killer when you stretch your vocal cords on a daily basis. CHEERS AND LETS DRINK TO THAT!!
