He and I are playing all instruments. His vocals are recorded using Neuman TLM 103 thru Firepod into Lenovo Laptop PC using Cubase SX and Sonar 7 and Wave SSL plug-in. Various Wave processors for doubling. Guitar is fender HR Strat Di'd using Waves GTR plug-in. Bass is Fender Precision Di'd using GTR Bass amp preset with wave SSL plug in

Yes. 1985 Halloween music. Okay, maybe it's 1995 Halloween music. I can't tell. The synth got brighter. Then Paul Stanley (kinda) started singing. Okay, we are back to 1985. Good.

This song reminds me of the 2nd sequel where the once-scary scary zombies are now doing the dance scene! ha ha This would be the perfect song for it!

Engineering
This isn't Bash This Recording, but I figured I'd chime in. I like the drums, but there is something going on in the bottom that is really weird. It muds up at times. I have a feeling there is a bunch of bottom in the guitars that is fighting the bass.

The overall mix is dark. A high shelf boost on the 2bus @ 5-8k of just a few dB would bring out quite a bit of life in the mix.
