This is my contest entry titled The Beast Outside. This is also the first song that i have mixed and recorded so if you have any suggestions they would be greatly appreciated.

great sound, I could fell every note, every pick of the strings love the guitar love the drums, piano. keyboards. Lead sounded awesome too

I really like the piano intro. Very cool!

From the engineering perspective, you've got a conflict between kick and bass at 120-200 or so. The boomy nature of the kick is fighting with it a bit. I'd pull out quite a bit of that stuff and the mix would feel quite a bit.

I think the piano intro could use some reverb so it doesn't sound so dry. Also tighten up the little tinkly bells, some of it is a bit out of time.
