After reading your article (Which is great by the way) I'm still a little confused as many studios have got insulation panels (Are they called defusers?) behind and angled above their monitors. If i posted a few photographs of my studio would you mind have a little look at them and the shape of the room because I dont wanna start buying the wrong stuff and I don't wanna over kill deadening my room etc. Thanks for your time Ethan jono_not_bono |

I'll be glad to look at your photos and comment. Bass traps are often placed in wall-ceiling corners, so maybe that's what you've seen? Absorption flat on the front wall isn't necessarily bad. It's just not the first place to worry about. --Ethan |
