OK, I'm totally new to forums, posting etc. so you can probably guess that I am over 50 years old. Anyway, I just gutted a 10'x10' room to use as a home studio. I am down to the studs and would like to have any suggestions on how to proceed. Keep in mind that I am working on a limited budget but I am doing all of the work so that should save some $$$. Let me know what you think is the best next step. Chef L17

Moved your post to an area more likely to get it the attention it needs.

Welcome to the forums.

Browse around a bit and use the search function. There is plenty here regarding studio builds. The threads should tide you over until you start getting some replies.

Acoustic treatment as explained here:

Acoustics FAQ

Note that with a small room that is also square, you'll need a lot of treatment and especially many bass traps. But done correctly you'll get excellent results.
