High ceiling

I'm acoustically treating my rectangular studio. It's a fair size, but it has a really high ceiling (2.5m).

Is it worth treating the ceiling over my listening position? Obviously I'll be treating the walls/corners but will the reflections from the ceiling be troubling on an acoustic level? Anybody got any experience with this?

According to my calculations that ends up being 8.2 feet if 1 meter = 3.2808399 feet.

If that's the case, you don't have a tall ceiling at all in acoustics land. In fact you have a low ceiling. I'd consider a really tall ceiling to be 20 feet which is 2.5 times higher than what you have now.

With a 2.5m ceiling, it's REQUIRED that you kill the reflections from your studio monitors hitting the ceiling and back to your ears.
