Acoustic room consultant

Hey Gang,

I was wondering if anyone could recommend an acoustic consultant in the OC area? I'm so over trying to make room eq wizard work with my firewire interface, and besides, even if I could do a proper analysis of my room, the results are fairly meaningless to me anyways.

So I would love to pay someone who's an expert in this, as it would be probably a lot more cost effective to have a pro come in and make recommendations.

So does anyone know of someone in the LA/OC area?

What's your budget? Regardless, I'll tell you what I tell everyone else who asks about a personal visit from an acoustician:

Most "project studio" size rooms are easy to fix without a visit. I can tell just by looking at photos what's wrong and what's needed to fix it. A personal visit is great if you can afford $400 to $800 just for that! But most people will do better to spend that money on buying more treatment which is needed anyway. A good treatment vendor can tell you exactly what to buy and where to put it just by phone and email photos etc.

Acoustician, that's a great word... love it

Now see? That's the sign of a pro.. if you can look at photos of my room and make suggestions, then to me it definitely makes sense to talk to an expert like yourself.

Where do I email my room pics? Ha ha..

And yes, I can afford a consult, which would be money better spent, than me spending that amount on the wrong kinds of stuff or placing it wrong, so I get little to no benefit.
