Question Acoustic panel Mounting

Hey guys, I just bought a case of 6 panels of rockboard 60 from ATS acoustics. Does anyone have any mounting tips as I am very new to this stuff? I don't really want to build a wood frame so is there other ways to go about doing this? Thanks

Well Sk8, anyone who gives any acoustical advice based solely on the info given is an asshole because we really don't know anything about your situation.

The ideal answer is to not do a thing until you read Alton Everests "Master Handbook of Acoustics".

However, I realize that most people don't read books that are this nerdy. So, what frequencies are trying to control?

If you aren't try to control frequencies than why are you even mounting the rockboard?

If you want this to be as simple as watching TV or whatever, you are about to be in for a shock. How you mount treatment has a huge effect on what it actually absorbs. So if you don't want absorption, my advice is to kill the entire issue and not bother mounting them at all.
