Redoptor - New tube amp simulator

Anyone tried it out, or even heard of it? Examples on the website sound pretty decent.

I'd like to hear some others opinions.

Oh, and the price is right too!

There's a free demo on their web site. How 'bout you download it, try it, and then get the ball rolling by posting your opinion on it.

p.s. I'm downloading it now but probably won't have time to try it for a couple of days.

Oh I will! But I’m at work at the moment and haven’t had time to do anything else lately.

Well my afternoon appointment canceled so... I played around with this plugin instead.

I also had to test a screen capture program so I decided to play with two toys at once. Here is an mp4 video that shows me stepping through some of the presets as a beat plays through the plug. I must say that this plug has a lot of personality. I haven't decided to buy it yet but I'm definitely going to be testing it some more.

p.s. the video starts off with the Redoptor plugin bypassed so that you can hear the unprocessed source loop.

The demo only works for 30 minutes at a time and you cannot save any edits or new patches.

ok this plug has stpped my compooter 3 times causing a reboot. And trust me my PC (1 of 5 of them) is not easy to crash. But the sound of this plug is great but can not deal with my box crashing in the middle of a pro tools recording lol

That's a bummer. I only demo'd it in Logic as an AU plugin. You should report it to the manufacturer.

You're using it in ProTools? Are you using a VST wrapper or something?
