With the first song on this thread I used a Squier Strat. But the second song was a Jackson RR5

I was actually looking at getting this amp, but I'm wondering, how loud can it get? Like can it be heard easily over the drummer? Because I've got a 30W Behringer atm that cannot...

This Amp Can Go Extremely Loud..
I compared this to a Peavey Bandit 112 80 w with volume full blast and this amp was ad loud at 8 1/2

By all means stay away from all Peavey Vypyrs (Probably most Peavey Amps). Many have had problems with humming. Peavey has also been know to ship out scratched software with these amps. The boxes they ship their amps in are thin boxes that arrive with holes and tears. Peavey is also known to have poor customer service. Beware if you buy Peavey amps on eBay. Peavey may not honor any warranty if the purchase was from ebay. I know someone this just happened to. If you were interested in the VYPYR for its features, i recommend the Vox VT-15 , VT-30 , VT50 or VT100. The new Vox Valvetonix VT series are far superior to any Peavey amp. Vox also has great customer support The VOX VT-50 or VT 100 is also good for stage use unlike the Vypyr. Vox will honor any amp bought on ebay or elsewhere s long as the seller is a Vox authorized dealer.
